Over the centuries, painters, illustrators and photographers have portrayed how students study in Leiden. This outdoor exhibition in the Hortus botanicus is a journey through 450 years of studying.

Visit the exhibition

The exhibition will run from 11 April to 26 October 2025 at the Hortus Botanicus. Admission to the Hortus is free for Leiden University students with a LU card, and €4.50 for staff members. See the website for more information for other visitors. No additional fee is required for the exhibition.
